First, and I know Moose will like this - SHU is for real. They are a serious contender this season. Their duo is tops in the NEC. On the down side, they need to keep better control of the ball (less turnovers) and get a few other guys into the offense, and improve their defense a little. It can't stay a 2-man show for long, but with Henley coming back and Granato, Petway, and Hobson as threats, they could reach for a home game in the NEC tourney.

As for CCSU, its not that bad. SHU (and in fact no NEC team) is not an easy win, especially on the road. Justin and Tristan are playing great. Jefferson is working his way back to form. Obie is team MVP material. Mojica is so fast and on most nights. Jason is getting better, but will be overmatched on some nights. We need SOBERS to be a big contributor off the bench! This team is so small and not very deep. I really think once he gets into a grove we'll be alright.

We must protect the home court! This 2 game strech (Monmouth/FDU) will tell us if we are real or not.

It's inexcusable that Howie didn't play Sobers more last night. He's the only guy who at least had a chance to slow Trim down a bit. He's certainly a better option than Ingo.

Just another tough loss. It would've been huge to be 3-0 in the NEC.
