Subject: Recruiting

Chris Sparks spent some time in Mississippi on a recruiting trip, with positive results. Central has made an offer to Nick Murphy, a 6'4'' 185lb forward from the Bronx NY. He has ALOT of interest from NEC teams, it will be tough to sell him on location (from NY) but a strong run in the NEC this year will help. (FDU & SFNY are looking, LIU will not be far behind). Central is still looking at Otis Campbell a 6'2'' Shooting Guard from Kansas (JUCO transfer), Terrell THomspson a 6'2'' SG from Somers NY, Mikko Koivisto a 6'4'' SG from Virginia (great Perimeter shooter...would fit into the program well), Chazz McCarter a local from New Haven 6'2'' guard, Kareem Brown a local from New London 6'0'' PG, and of course the Superstar...Deidrick King from Hard Hittin New Britain, a 6'3'' Shooting Guard. Jeremy Myers signed in the early period, others to sign in the "Spring" signing period, and some will hold until summer recruiting to see all of thier options, will pass along more news when I have it available.
