Subject: Recruiting?

I heard on the Radio that Chris Sparks is taking another recruiting trip...maybe to NY, They offered to Nick Murphy. (So did FDU & SFNY) Any ideas here folks???

I looked into Jeremy Myers a bit, he seems quite good. Strong for his size, solid perimeter shooter, great passer. It seems like he is another Tristan Blackwood. We will need another solid guard with Lenny & Justin graduating. I get the feeling he will play right away. He was heavily recruited by Mt. St. Mary's and is listed in the Top 25 of Washington DC area recruits.

STATESBORO, Ga. (AP) -- Three men are in custody after two Georgia Southern basketball players were shot early Sunday morning after an apparent argument at a bar.

Dwayne Foreman, 21, and Rob Robinson, 18, were shot at about 2 a.m. at Legends Bar and Grill, according to the Statesboro Police Department.

Robinson received a cut to his head and gunshot wounds to his left shoulder, right side and arm. He was being treated at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Foreman received a gunshot wound to the scalp and bullet fragments struck him in his left shoulder, left arm, left thigh and right groin. He was treated and released at East Georgia Medical Center.

Police Chief Stan York said the shooting apparently followed an argument at or near the bar.

"There's no motive," said Statesboro Police Chief Stan York. "They got into a yah-yah contest and it escalated to violence, then escalated to weapons."

Rafael Sanchez Howard, 19, Brandon Derrel Mobley, 22, and Eric Latwain Crump, 18 -- all of Glennville, Ga. -- were arrested shortly after the shooting and police confiscated a semi-automatic rifle.

Howard and Crump are charged with obstruction of police officers and Mobley is charged with giving false information to a police officer.

Police say other charges and additional arrests are expected.

Foreman is a sophomore point guard and one of five Eagles to play in all 31 games last season. Robinson, a freshman forward, joined the team as a walk-on this season.
