JEREMY MYERS
Height: 6’1’’ Weight: 180lbs. Class: Freshman Position: Guard
Hometown: Fort Washington, MD High school: Bullis, Potomac, MD

Jeremy is a quick, athletic point guard from The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland. Jeremy averaged 12.4 Points per Game during the 04-05 season and 16.8 Points per Game in his senior season, leading Bullis to the IAC Championship. Jeremy also led the team in assists averaging 3.9 per game, while shooting just over 36% from behind the arc. Jeremy was also a letterman on the Bullis Football team. Jeremy was honored as an All-IAC 1st team selection and IAC Most Valuable Player for the 05-06 season. Jeremy was All-IAC 1st team, All-County 2nd Team, and IAC Best Play Maker for the 04-05 season. The Washington Post rated Jeremy as a “Bronze” star player, placing him in the Top 40 of all Maryland recruits. Bullis Head Coach Bruce Kelly had this to say about Jeremy committing to CCSU: “Jeremy Myers plays to win. The CCSU ticket holders will appreciate the heart and desire Jeremy plays with. He is the kind of kid who can play for Howie. You will enjoy him.” Prior to signing with Central Connecticut State, Jeremy was recruited by Hartford, Radford, Jacksonville, High Point, James Madison and was offered a scholarship by Mount St. Mary’s.


DARRELL JOHNSON
Height: 6’4’’ Weight: 195lbs. Class: Freshman Position: Guard
Hometown: New Castle, DE High school: Howard, Wilmington, DE

Darrell is a strong & athletic guard from Howard High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Darrell averaged 18.5 points per game in the 04-05 season and 20.5 Points per Game in the 05-06 season. His scoring average led the team and was 10th in the state. Darrell was honored as an All-State player in both the 04-05 & 05-06 seasons. Darrell is nationally rated by Hoop Scoop, and is rated as the #3 recruit from the state of Delaware by Delaware Online. Darrell is rated as the #5 Delaware Senior Recruit by DE Prep Magazine. Darrell said this about committing to CCSU:
“Coach Howie Dickenman said if I come in and work, there shouldn't be any reason why I can't start. Getting strong and adjusting to the speed is the biggest change from high school to college, and that's what I'll have to work on."

One more signee, will be announced soon. Others are still in the mix, looking to bring in a few more. Late signing period begins April 10th and ends May 17th.
