They probably can't announce anything official anyway until all of the paperwork is done, fines are paid, etc. Stony Brook is announcing its intention to leave, the conference will probably wait until it is official.

Don't expect much. Generally they do not make a big deal out of teams leaving. I mean, why would they? When UMBC left very little was said, yet it was a pretty big deal when UA and SBU joined for FB .

I'd be more interested in our intentions ;)
