The Delaware Coach made a smart move. Johnson was the top ranked recruit in the state and the kid only made verbal commitment to us. Its sucks, but its part of the game, no foul.

I don't know or trust the "stars" or ranking at this level. I mean what is the difference between a 1 star and a 2 star? Obviously 3 stars seem to be a huge reach to get at this level. So I don't really know who I'd like to see as a Blue Devil.

We do need size! Maybe 1 JC big man, like a 6-7 forward. The rest should be freshmen. Again size is nice but we need to build the backcourt again too. Howie loves D, so I want strong and smart defensive players. The only name that sticks out is D. King. It would probably be nice to get the local kid from New Britain, if not 1 of the other CT guards. We just don't want to see those kids at Hartford, QU or SHU.

The boys are still on the recruiting trail hard. It is tough to rely on an online database such as Rivals or Scout, they are inaccurate and inconsistent for smaller programs. Nick Murphy is a solid player, with some interest in not only Central, but other NEC teams. Academically he is questionable, he may prep. Chazz McCarter is a good local talent, he is of the level of a NEC or AE program. Kareem Brown is going to Prep, so take him off the list. Lounceny Kaba is a JUCO from Guinea, he has been offered by Central and is setting up visits, but we are not realistically on his list. Tyrell Thompson visited Army, expect a Verbal to Army, or a visit to Central in the next week or two. Rob Hampton is off the market, just not announced yet. King will be on campus or prep (no heavy contact yet, the neglect could bite us.) Adako committed to EKU then bailed because the coach left, wants to go to UMASS but they have no scholarships….he has no interest in Central.
