Congratulations. CCSU ranked 23rd in this week's The Sports Network I-AA poll, the first NEC team ever ranked.

Excellent. Now...I hope either the NEC continues to improve in recognition and Stonybrook decides to remain in the NEC, OR schools like Stonybrook, UA, CCSU and Monmoth look elswhere to continue improving their football program.

By the way...congrats to Albany. This Saturday should be very interesting and I regret not being able to attend the game.

Wow, as our UA fans noticed! A first for the school and the conference. This is big time. If Monmouth beats Colgate we could have 3 teams getting votes in the I-AA poll. Amazing!!!!!!!

Somehow we are only ranked #2 in the "mid-major" poll, followed by #3 Albany. San Diego remains #1.
