Its exactly what I expected. It was never a game. On the bright side Holmes was 6 for 7 passing (105 yrds) and 2 TDs. Once we were up by so many points it "forced" us to return to the running game for sportsmanship reasons. Ironically our running game is the strongest part of our offense - a bad break for the Peacocks.

Bottom line is this game should never have been scheduled. We would have been better off backing out of this contracted game and inviting D-III Western Conn. (who is 2-0 vs. the MAAC this year!) to Arute for a home game. St. Peter's can't really help us for prepare for games vs. the like of Monmouth or Stony Brook. We really needed a PL or Ivy opponent!

Speaking of the MAAC, they have really headed downhill this year.
And many would say their (MAAC teams) poor performace vs NEC teams is a direct result of the scholarship offerings.
Not really. Not really, when D-3 WesConn hands them 2 L's.

It would be to my understanding that the FB schedule will be quite different next season, of which will NOT include MAAC teams... not for "status" reasons, rather experience and exposure purposes.

I noticed WFSB didn't even give the score on last nights newscast.

Well...at least the bench got to play which provided valuable experience. Seriously, the MAAC should give up football and the schools who are serious about their programs like Marist and Duquesne should look elsewhere. The MAAC is a very good BB conference and should focus on that sport.

Your coach has no class and you should be ashamed of him and your program. I heard you had your first string RB in the game in the fourth quarter. Play a comparable team before you boast about a win.

'Gate take your trash somewhere else.

Do we have to remind you about last season?

CCSU 24
Colgate 22

or how about this year vs. another NEC team

Monmouth 17
Colgate 12

You should be much more concerned with your team's performance!
