Somerset, NJ -- As a prelude to the NEC's 25th Anniversary men's basketball season, MSG Network will debut a half-hour preview show entitled NEC Countdown To Tipoff on Monday, November 7th at 6:00 pm. The program will also air in the coming weeks on a host of regional cable networks throughout the Northeast, including Fox Sports-Pittsburgh, Cox Cable (CT/RI), and Adelphia Cable (MD). In addition, Fox College Sports (Atlantic Region) will carry the show to digital cable suscribers along the eastern seaboard. A complete list of airings will be announced shortly.

Hosted by longtime NEC hoops announcer Dave Popkin and Tim Capstraw, NEC Countdown To Tipoff takes a comprehensive look at the league's preseason poll with team-by-team capsules and highlights, followed by an examination of the preseason all-conference team. Also included in the show is a panel discussion focusing on the 2005-06 season, as well as a news and notes segment.

MSG Network will offer repeat airings of the show on the following dates:

• Wednesday, November 16 - 7:00 pm
• Friday, November 18 - 2:30 pm
• Friday, November 18 - 6:30 pm

I watched it, I thought it was going to be an hour show. Not 30 minutes. Still a nice show to watch to see where everyone stands.
