Its all over the news and I guess its good exposure for the NEC. Its good that Monmouth won, but they still don't look great, scoring just 41 vs. a very bad Princeton team.

Once again, the NEC will be a wide open race!

Talk about winning ugly!

Seahawks win 63-61 over the Rams! Great job by Deane in Staten Island. Another good non-conf win for a NEC team. The conference is having a much better seaon than last year.

Excerpts from the ProJo:
Wagner came in 6-26 all time against Atlantic 10 schools. It had not beaten an A-10 school since defeating St. Bonaventure 14 years ago. Its Northeast Conference had been 1-7 against the A-10 this season. Until winning at Brown and Yale earlier this month, Wagner had not won back-to-back nonconference road games in 22 years.

But the Seahawks are shattering some images this year.

The team from Staten Island now is 6-1, its best start in 26 years --since P.J. Carlesimo was the coach. After beginning last season 1-11, Wagner has won 17 of its last 20. Still, none of the victories has come against a team from a bigger conference.
