The Blue Devils had a reduced roster. Dickenman said reserve guard James Brown, who had played three games, was dismissed from the team for failing to meet team academic requirements and reserve forward Ed Gerrity (two games) voluntarily left the team.

Good. Gerrity was a walk-on, and Brown was a late-signing/nobody anyway.
