Any truth the the rumor that "Big Deli" is leaving UMass? If so, any possibility that the Bristol native who was recruited by CCSU would transfer here?

Coach Ford: This is an interesting question because I heard that rumor. This is 100 percent false. Whoever posted this needs to stick to their day job because journalism is not something they are very good at. Deli has been working hard every day and is doing a great job and its unfortunate that someone would start a rumor that is so untrue.

OK - that is why I said rumor and sure enough it is untrue. While these boards are fun and a lot of info is out there you really have to know the source and not trust everything out there. Thanks for real the source.

FYI - For whatever reason, former CCSU recruit and Bristol native leaves UMass.

all I'll say is that Latina was the assistant who was recruiting him while at CCSU. I'm sure you guys can put two and two together. CCSU probably had no chance once Anthony got back in touch with him.

I can see Moose doing his <b>'Happy dance'</B> from my office window in Hartford. I guess that once Anthony left, Howie had no one who was any good at recruiting besides Howie. It kind of makes sense why he cleared the decks and hired all new Asst's.
