Subject: Tough loss @ MU

From the various reports it sounded like a pretty good game. Hats off to Monmouth, as they appear to be somewhat like the NE Pats - a very good team that will beat you if you make mistakes (which CCSU did) - but not dominant. Their 3 final-play wins this season tells me that they put themselves in a position to win and execute under pressure.

On the bright side the CCSU offence was productive (aside from the turnovers) and the Blue Devils defense didn't allow a TD. It was a game Central could of and should of won - if they finished off a few drives for scores instead of turning the ball over to MU. They were never given good field position to start with (good punting by MU) but drove the ball well, however they turned the ball over too much to scratch out a victory. Next up is a dangerous SBU team at home.

Stonybrook may come out looking to avenge the loss to SHU this past Saturday. This game might be a tough one. I really want to see how the league comes out, when it is all said in done.
