Subject: NEC Preseason Poll and All-Conf. Team
In reply to: inside 's message, "Re: NEC media day" on 16:25:02 11/01/04 Mon

The NEC coaches poll is about what I expected, but as the press release indicates the team picked to win usually doesn't. I think any of the top 5 teams have a realistic shot at wining the tournament and the NCAA bid.

1. Monmouth (8)
2. Fairleigh Dickinson (3)
3. Robert Morris
4. St. Francis (PA)
5. Central Connecticut St.
6. Mount St. Mary’s
7. St. Francis (NY)
8. Quinnipiac
9. Wagner
10. Sacred Heart
11. Long Island

No real suprises on the all-conference team either.

F Hamilton - Monmouth
F Gordon Klaiber - FDU
G Darshan Luckey - St. Francis (PA)
G Chaz McCrommon - Robert Morris
G Landy Thompson - Mount St. Mary’s
