Subject: Question about CCSU Uconn game

Is Uconn giving CCSU any tickets? Will I be able to go to the CCSU box office and get a ticket?

Single game tix for UConn men at the HCC went on sale Tuesday 10 am. Unfortunately when I jumped on the Ticketmaster.com to buy some only single seats were available. You couldn't get 2 seats together anywhere in the building, so I only have 1 seat somewhere in Sec. 215. That is bullsh*t, but its the hard facts of life when UConn is Natl’ Champs and sells out almost every game in CT. Insider indicated CCSU might open some seats to the public through Central’s box office if season ticket holders and/or students don't buy them all, but I’m not sure when that might happen. However don't hold your breath - this game will be a sell-out. If all else fails there are usually scalpers outside the HCC. I almost can’t fathom paying $50 for a Central Connecticut basketball game, but it is very possible
