I knew NU was very good, but I was a little shocked by the final score. Mendez is one of the better players in the East Coast irregardless of conferences. Having 3 seniors really helps the Purple Eagles, especially with that crowd at home. CCSU is outscored by 20 or so in the last 10 minutes. Central played well for about 30 minutes, but then fell apart. However, NU was the stronger team last night. This is NU's year to win the MAAC.
