Subject: Great Game Saturday

First off, Congratulations on an impressive win Saturday. You guys played great. It could be a long season for the Pioneers. I have a felling it will take one year to get into the swing of the offense.

Again, it was a great game played by the Blue Devils. And, Yes I was in attendance to see it.

Sounds like CCSU won with some ease, a bit suprising. SHU lost some key players and their coach got a late start, but they won't be down for too long. This was how Central wanted to start their season, 1-0 in the NEC.

Nice to have a win under the belt heading into URI. After reading Albany got thummped by Hofstra, I don't expect much better for the Blue Devils in Kingston. I think the Rams run an option offence so they could rack up a ton of rushing yards and make this ugly. However, I still like scheduling this game against a New England rival even if we are huge underdogs. It might help this year to have a some confidence and a former A-10 coach on our sideline.

The NEC race should be a very good one and CCSU has a chance to be competative in every game. The MAAC is horrible (except for Duquense) so wins vs. St. Peters and Marist should be expected. This could be a good season.
