Should be one close race this year. Anyone can win it. The conference looks really evenly matched.

With that loss to Albany, You can count the Pioneers out of the race.

A very gutty win for Central over Marist and sweet revenge for last year. The NEC is now 10-0 vs. the MAAC this season. Central is now 3-0 at home and drawing close to 3,000 per game. This is turning into a great season for the Blue Devils.

Wow, what a close race it will be for the NEC title. CCSU is 2-0 and leads the NEC with a tough schedule ahead of them; SHU just upset Wagner for its 1st conference win this season and is getting settled with their new coach; SBU beat MON on a last second play 2 weeks ago, but loses to RMU in close game this week; SFPA has 3 wins already, more than most expected; Albany is a really hard team to read becasue of their tough OOC schedule. So what will happen next?

NEC Week 6:
Monmouth at WAG - Can the Seahawks rebound at home vs a strong Monmouth team after 2 disapointing OT losses in CT?

SFPA at Albany - Is Albany too beat up from the tough OOC schedule, or will they remain a NEC contender? The Red Flash could make a huge statement with a win.

CCSU at RMU (NEC game of the week) - Are the Blue Devils for real and can they beat RMU for the 1st time ever?

Hofstra at SBU - Hofstra's O is explosive, can the overmatched 'Wolves, keep it close?

SHU - bye - A well deserved break to regroup for the rest of the season.
