Subject: Upcoming Niagara game

Tuesdays nights game looks to be a good one against Niagara Univ. When Central wins against the purple eagles (wich are ranked #21 in the collegeinsider.com mid-major poll) Central should break into the Mid-Major top 25. There are 3 players that are scoring double digits. But the Niagara schedule looks a little cupcake city. With no qulaity wins ( except St. Bonaventure and Yale, but that is a strech).. So what do you think? Are the Blue Devils going to have Purple Eagle for Dinner on the 30th?

...based on their OOC schedule wins and two losses! Niagara is ranked 21st in the mid-major poll for a reason! The Niagara big inside players can eat CCSU alive! Mendez and Reaves are a force on the boards. This is the most talented team Niagara has had in many years, and CCSU will soon find out exactly why! Go Niagara!!!

Thats exactly why I said Tuesdays game would be a good one. If Niagara beats St. Johns or Fairfield U. Then you have every right to shoot UR mouth off. I am just not seeing a strong OOC schedule

Lets look at the matchups.

Mendez 6'8" 235 --> Ron Robinson
Reaves 6'8" 250 --> Rich Pittman
Darden 6'4" 200 --> Obie Nwadike
Cruz 6'1" 185 --> Justin or Lenny
Brooks 6'3" 200 --> Demario Anderson

Ultimately, this game will boil down to guard play. It looks like the forwards cancel each other out. If the guards have their game on and keep an up-tempo game on this game will be a 'W' for CCSU...

noone is taking Niagara lightly, that's the point. CCSU fans know this is a quality team, as do the players.

This is going to be a tough game...
