UMass defensive coordinator Tom Masella and former Sacred Heart football coach Jim Fleming interviewed for the head coach's job at Central Connecticut Tuesday.

Central Connecticut is expected to make a contract offer today or early next week to one of the finalists for the football coaching position, and that time frame could favor Jim Fleming over Tom Masella.
