Subject: Tourney seeding

According to the NEC update it looks like a real long shot for the Mount, so I'd agree and say the field is set with MSM, LIU, and QU sitting out this year.

I said it before, but I'd like for CCSU to have a good matchup plus a nice win streak heading in the tourney. I know there are 2 games to go and they could also be possible 1st round opponents, but who do you think the Devils match-up best with and who do you think we would like to avoid early?

I'd rather see SHU, SFPA, or FDU first and really like to avoid Wagner or SFNY 'til the finals.

I hope we avoid St. Francis-NY in the first round. They seem to have our number, as do many teams that shoot well from 3. I'd rather play Monmouth.

Of course, Wagner has home court (can't they rotate??) and the Seahawks are playing as well as anyone in the league right now.

Excerpt from the NB Herald - "Depending on how CCSU fares in the trip to Pennsylvania, the Blue Devils could finish as high as third and as low as eighth. The stars will need to align just so for a third-place finish as CCSU would need to leap frog five other teams, starting with the Blue Devils winning the last two games. Fairleigh Dickinson (9-6 NEC) and Robert Morris (9-7) would need to lose the rest of their games and none of the three other teams with eight wins could finish with 10 wins."

This is as close a race as I've seen, in the short time I've been watching this league. I think anybody has a shot at the title.

While I believe we can beat anyone in this league, I wouldn't want to see SFNY. I think, as I believe ScottS said, they have our number. I also wouldn't want to see Fairleigh or SHU. But again, we can beat anyone in this league.
