Subject: Starting Lineup for Tournament

Anybody have any idea what would be the best starting lineup? One game Demario looks lost and then he looks like a big time player. Chiera cant really create his own shot and gets shut down sometimes. Lenny is up and down. But I would like to see Chiera at Point and Mojica at SG, this combo seems to stop the other team from completely collapsing on Ron. With demario being the first guard off the bench. Any other opinions? Pittman has been playing decent but not great, I wonder if we could see alot of a 3 guard lineup.

Ok, I just made my plans to make it to the tourney. How do you think the turnout will be?

I think the first game could be the toughest, but I liked reading this stat: CCSU is 2-1 vs. SFNY in the NEC tourney and both years Central won the NCAA bid, they had to beat the Terriers to get there. Last year's upset loss hurts, but I really do like our chances tomorrow.

JT: You’re right, I wonder what starting lineup we will use and what our game plan is. I think we have to slow them down, get back quickly on defense, guard the 3-point line, and take smart shots on offense. Although we seem to be a better 2nd half team and have a decent bench, you sure don't want to start the final 20 minutes down by much.

St. Francis has strong guards, so I would think Howie will start Mojica over Chiera for defensive reasons unless he feels Chiera matches up OK.

I think Demario is better coming off the bench. He can provide a spark when the team is sluggish on offense. I'm expecting Robinson, Obie, Pittman, Mojica and Jefferson to be the starters.

Robinson being player of the year bodes well. The team with the player of the year has won the last four NEC tournaments.
