Just a few comments I found regarding the game from other boards:

Friartown.com - "The Friars squeaked out a 72-67 victory over Central Connecticut on Sunday afternoon. It will be long forgotten in a couple months, but this game probably should have gone the Blue Devils way. CCSU's Ron Robinson was the best player on the floor today scoring 29 points, and DeMario Anderson the luckiest - hitting three bizarre three-pointers from various depths under various coverage. CCSU had tremendous activity on the defensive end, always with a hand on or in front of a Friar, and were fairly adept at busting the Friar zone thanks to some early success from beyond the arc."

UMasshoops.com - "Not that it should make us feel a lot better, but CCSU almost knocked off a very good Providence team...... "

The-Boneyard.com (UConn) - "Central put up a good game against Providence. It was on Cox 3 in CT. They were up by 12 in the first half and led most of the game but at the end the refs bailed out PC. PC had the last 7 pts on questionable fouls. Ron Robinson impressed me a lot"

this team is going to make some noise....robinson has been dominating against better competition and has to be the odds on favorite for POTY right now.

So much for CCSU sneaking under the radar for the conference season.... I was real pleased with the Play at PC yesterday Ron Was a monster!! If he can keep up that level of play, Quinnipiac should be real nervous.. The Refs definitely bailed out PC... Next up is a real good Niagara team on the 30th... Maybe central will bring in more than 3000+ for a home game. And maybe CCSU will get some recognition and break in to the mid major top 25.
