Subject: A very meaningfull OOC game

Yes, UMass is struggling. In fact, they are hitting new lows like St. John's. But, not too long ago they were a Final Four team with Hartford's own Marcus Camby. Another win vs. UMass could be the final nail in Lappas cofin. Another win would provide even more respect for Howies basketball program. A win will sure look beter for the university than the beatings the football team takes from our northern neighbor! Its nice to know they are not looking past us on the schedule.

Its interesting to read what UMass fans think of CCSU and tomorrow's game. From a poster at http://umasshoops.com/board/index.htm

"I'll be there! But, I don't know if I can take another loss to CCSU. That was one awfully loooooooooong ride back to Springfield last year.

I don't often agree with Ronnie C., but his column in yesterday's paper hit the proverbial nail on the head when he wrote, "If the Minutemen lose Tuesday to Central Connecticut, which beat them last year, they'll be right back on square one.

I can't believe that I'm saying this, but, this is a big game for UMass!"
