Boy on Arethus -- ARETHUSA

Subject: Boy on Arethus

Am looking for any information on a boy who I believe may have been on the Arethusa in the 1890's. By 1898 when he joined the navy he gave his name as Bertram Joseph Siddon Watson and mentioned the word "Arethusa" as part of his London home. He was apparanetly born in 1882/3 but I cannot find his birth recotd so whether Watson was his born name or one he adopted later I do not know.
