Subject: Frederick William Billing

As a youngster I was told that my father, Frederick William Billing, (who died in 1957) had been an Arethusa boy after running away from home in Watford. He later joined the Royal Navy and was a Lieutenant in the Gunnery Branch when he died. He was born in 1912, which, I believe, would have put him on Arethusa in about the mid 1920's. However there is no record of him that I can find on these web pages. Can anyone help in placing him on Arethusa?
