I saw Frankie about a year or so, I saw him on Nostrand Ave, he was going to visit his mother in an old age home. He told me the city made him close the bar down because of that school that was built on Foster Ave and 88th St. I think the law says that where there is a school no bars within 500 feet. But, the bar was there before they built that school. Frank Curti was a real good guy.
