The last two days have been slow for browns with only a half dozen hookups or less due to low, clear conditions and few uncooperative trout. Today made up for that with six brownies landed along with three fresh king salmon. Egg sacks in chartreuse and hot pink along with a pink/salmon colored glow bugs fished right behind the spawning kings. Six and four pound leaders made the difference along with next to no weight attached to get the egg bag down. The browns averaged seven pounds but we saw a fellow land a fourteen lber and release it. A few rainbows are sneaking around. Little Salmon river, catfish creek, little sandy and north and south sandy all have adequate #'s of trout and salmon for the catching with egg sacks. Salmon river is fair with a few fresh kings and a decent number of steelies in the middle and upper sections. They are also gobbling egg sacks. stay tuned trout ticklers! walleyed out
