Floated South Sandy today between ellisburg and Route Three to get away from a very crowded Salmon River with modest results. It was the peace and quiet we were really seeking and we found that off the beaten path on the stream less traveled by...and that made all the difference! Two for two with a six pound nipper Boar steelie and a seven pound FIRE ENGINE RED Domestic Rainbow rooster fish. Both Trout found it nesscessary to attach themselves to our Orange/gold #35 hotshots, and thus got themselves into serious trouble and ended up with a ride, all expenses paid to Maryland. The water was a perfect emerald green. "Rightious", as the old "Swing Bag" would say. Good fishing. walleyed out
