Capt. Kevin Davis of Catch the Drift Guide service is one of the hardest working Guides on the River and on the Lake. All this bad mouthing of him is petty jealousy by other Guides, who he has made to look bad on numerous occassions, I am sure of. He is the only Guide I fish with and want to fish with, seeming how I am from Maine a nine hour drive. I have seen many Guides setting on anchor in a hole or a run on the river for hours at a time while Cpt Kevin is rowing his a-- off to get you more and bigger fish. As far as killing the catch I believe the last time I looked in the law book a licensed client has the right to keep a limit if he wants to. I have seen more than one time when Cpt Davis told a client he should release a fish if he was not going to have it mounted rather than waste a true trophy. You haven't caught fish until you 'Catch the Drift'.
