We have been fishing hard the past four days and here's what we've done and also what we've seen. Wensday we floated Altmar to Route 2A and things were fairly slow as we should have kept going down below 2A where it turns out the fish were more active. Ellis Cove Produced a Whopper Washington Strain Boar steelhead weighing #16 lbs., 6ozs. measuring 35" inches. He Attached himself to a #35 copper hotshot wiggled back into the logjams. He sported two flies in his pelvic fins but was able to defeat the previous flyguys. That was the only bite we took but quality outshown quantity. Thursday We took a ride to points north and discovered a very few fish in smaller spring creeks that were too low to fish. South Sandy at the fire hall pool and the pool the bridge had good numbers of CHROME UNITS along with a #16.20 lb, 34" inch Boar with a healed over lamprey hit on his left side and fire engine red gill flap and matching racing stripe.
