Now hear this.....I was not bashing Kevin Davis at all. I was simply asking if you were fishing at Ginna, that's it. As you are Trumpeting to all who will listen, Yes, Kevin Davis is the hardest working Guide in Oswego, and the most successful fish catcher, and totally legitimate method wise. Kevin is Friendly competition for me and I've NEVER had a problem with him. And your assertion that I'm driven off the Oswego is pure Male Cow PooPie. I have fished the Oswego since the late seventies when kevin and most of the rest were still in diapers. I simply choose not to fish in Oswego now cause I won't pay $25.00 a crack for EACH LAUNCH at Leto's Island and also because myself and my clients don't want to fish in a City environment and Concrete jungle. Nor do we want to rise at a ridiculously early hour to sit in the dark for three hours for legal fishing time so we have "the spot". Also, In these days of high gas prices, I'm not driving fifty miles round trip when Salmon River is the best on Lake Ontario for Steelhead. As far as a Two hours out of an eight hour Float trip. Apparently, I couldn't wait to get you and your Bride OUT of my vessel. I'm suprised I didn't eject you on the spot and make you walk back to your Car. Consider yourself lucky. Anyway, To reiterate....Kevin is a topnotch guide, my friend, and a pleasure to fish beside, any time. Oh, by the way, The Northern Creeks are full of Trout, and I caught four and hooked Eight today on my day off. Back to work tomorrow for a LONG stretch. Good Fishing. walleyed out.
