His laughter was like music to her ears, she could not stand here and take this if her whittiness was not appreciated, for it is a sad fact that Butterfly's greatest flaw was self induldgence. Thus it was little wonder that a little warm feeling enlightened in her heart for him though it greatly puzzled her for it was quite different to the flush she felt.

"Dare, I do not think that I have always been an angel, indeed I do not think that I am one now, prehaps your eyes are misty with sleep, for I am much more the devil's enchantress, much to my sire and dam's dismay. I am, I must regret to say, descended from a line of meek neautrals, so when i came along i stirred up a lot of excitement with my impish ways."

She paused to let this all sink in, for she was slightly dubious about where Dare's loyalties layed for he had not returned the favor when she had told him hers. She drew in a long breath, venturing to probe for a few answers about rumors seh had heard, "I am fearing for my life a little at the moment Dare, for I'm quite dubious whether your Red Satin Beauty would like you to be paying me such high respects."
