WHO WE ARE:
Surrounded is a nation-wide student-driven literary magazine started by the students at Campbell Hall and writer/teacher Glen Hirshberg in Los Angeles, California. We are currently looking for submissions for our first issue to be published in spring 2006.

WHAT WE NEED:
We are look for submissions from all HIGH SCHOOL students living in the United States. We will accept up to five poetry submissions and/or no more than ten pages of prose from each writer. NO SUBMISSION WILL BE EDITED FOR CONTENT. This magazine will be an uncensored forum for the best writing this country's students have to offer! If you are not currently attending high school but you are 18 years old or younger and HAVE NOT graduated, you may still submit.

Submissions will not be returned, so we ask that students keep a copy of their manuscript for their own purposes.

WHAT TO SUBMIT WITH YOUR WRITING
EVERY PAGE of your submission must contain the following information:
Your name
Your school
Your e-mail address
Your mailing address

All contributers selected to appear in the magazine will receive 2 complementary copies of the final Surrounded magazine.
