Subject: Setting the record straight

Ok now that mine and my daughters name has been brought to this board let me respond to this entire situation with the TRUTH. It is true that last year we had intended on going and sent in a deposit, I like everyone else believed that deposit to be lost when we weren't able to make the pageant (and we were offered the chance to come in late last year and didn't take it) I NEVER called Anda or anyone else and asked about the deposit from last year...I never called Anda at all about the state pageant period. Anda called me and told me that we could use the money that we had paid last year for a deposit..I even then told her that I was not sure that we could make, because as most everyone knows since you know so much about my business, I have not been working and just simply didn't have the money to go. But as most people know Anda can be persistant. Then a good friend said that she would loan me the money if we would come, so we planned on making it, then on Thursday night before we were leaving to get there, the person that was going to come over and watch my son and the kids that I was babysitting that week called and said they couldn't make it on Friday. So AGAIN we weren't going to get to do the pageant...Schelbi wanted to come down Friday night to see her friends and go out to eat with Jordan..that is the ONLY reason we came Friday night, when we walked in Anda approched me and wanted to know if I brought her clothes with me and said that it would be fine for her to come in Saturday morning for talent then get caught up with everyone else. I did NOT ask for that nor did I "whine" to anyone, we weren't going to get to do the pageant and that was it..but when she offered it to me with Schelbi standing right there then I had to give in. IF I had known that it would cause my daughter to get bashed as it has on this board and another one then I may have done things differently...or maybe not since it is about HER and what she wants to do rather than whatever you people want to make of things...anyway the point being if I have upset someone then I apologize. BUT us coming late wasn't anything that hadn't been done before AND we weren't the only ones that had to catch up with the rest of the competition there was also a boy that did the rest of his events on Sunday afternoon also. I don't think that doing this gave her ANY advantage as she had to pro-am (which she did not do well in my opinion) and model with a basically empty ballroom, which in my opinon doesn't give anyone anytype of advantage. Anyway again I am sorry if someone thinks I broke rules or "whined" to get into this pageant..your wrong though. Now I hope this clears up some of the rumors, but if not then keep bashing, at least I know if your picking on me your leaving someone else alone. This will be the only post that I make so take it for what's worth.
