Yes, absolutely. A saying that is attributed to Francis of Assisi goes, "Preach the Gospel at all times. Where necessary, use words."

Some Evangelical Christians consider Francis' principle as "spiritually shallow", and "lazy". But the same Evangelical Christians seem to prefer preaching from the pulpit (largely to people who are already Christians) in contrast to washing the "untouchable" -- sick and desolated -- people in places like India. What would Jesus do?
