I'd hate to bother him as he arrives at the theatre when he's trying to concentrate on his performance, and who knows *when* he'd arrive at the theatre. I'm confident all will go well if we greet him at the stage door after the performance. When he comes out, we can just hang in the background until all the autograph hounds are finished and we can be the last people he meets with the birthday scroll and flowers in hand. That way he won't be juggling our gifts while signing 8x10 glossies, etc. Let me know what you think. By the way, are you planning to bring a camera? These guys make really fast film nowadays, though I still hate Fujifilm and Kodak on principle (one makes lousy color, the other fades horribly). It should still be daylight out when we're there. I know the picture quality of Fujifilm and Kodak isn't great, but I'm too poor right now to invest in a good camera. The stage door opens onto 43rd Street and there's plenty of light. Let's hope it doesn't rain that day.
