Trigger walks away from the herd and lays down in a soft grassy area. She goes into labor and after 2 hours, she has a bay filly at her feet. She gets up and quickly cleans her off. The filly gets up after several minutes and starts nursing happily. Trigger watches her and thinks of a name. "Your name will be....Trigger's Midnight Joy....Joy for short." she whispers in the filly's ear. Joy shakes her head to get the tickling feeling out of her ear. Trigger smiles and nuzzles her new filly. She walks back to the herd and goes to grazing as if she had never left.
