When the chestnut mare started feeling sharp pains in her stomach she left the other grazing horse and went to find a more secluded spot. Her labor was a bit difficult being her first, but three hours later she gave birth to a healthy bay anglo-arab filly. She had two white socks on her front legs and a little white star on her forehead. After the filly was cleaned off Delphinium looked up to see that sunrise had come. I am going to name you Dawn she whispered to the filly.
