Jamie drives up at Beth's house and hops out of his car. He walks in the barn, but can't find Beth. He hears her voice coming from outside of the barn and he follows it. He sees her kneeling down beside a mare and a stallion trying to protect the mare. He walks up closer and notices it's Belle. "Belle?! Oh my goodness. I have been looking all over for you! Where have you been?" he says worried. He reaches out to her and rubs her head. Jamie notices her stomache and wonders what stallion got a hold of her. He can see that the stallion is uneasy and doesn't look friendly so he gets a rope and a halter and lead. He ropes the stallion, takes him to a round pen and lets him go. He goes back to Belle and puts a halter on her. He asks Beth to help him get Belle up. "Beth, would you mind if Belle stays in a stall here until she's well enough to go back to my ranch? I don't think she could take the trip even in a trailer and I don't want to lose her. Also, would you mind if I took the mustang back to my ranch?" Jamie asks her.
