Angel watches Prince and the new mare happily keeping her distance. She feels a pain in her side and bites at it. It won't go away so she starts pacing. She lays down and gets back up and lays back down again. She pushes and pushes, but doesn't get anywhere. After 3 hours of pushing, she finaly gets the foal out and it's a palomino colt. She can tell something's wrong. Her colt isn't moving or even breathing. She quickly cleans him off and nudges him softly several times. He still won't move. Tears start running down her face and she lays down beside her silent colt. She places her head around his tiny body and cries harder. She whinnies out of sadness. She blames herself, but knows there was nothing she could do. She whinnies for Prince over and over again. "Prince! Where are you? I need you. Please come!" Angel calls.
