Prince screams with rage as he's herded into the pen. As soon as he is in he leaps the fence, leaving his father to look after the mares. He chases the single Domestic and the man and hides in the dense scrub at the mouth of the woods. When they walk out, Prince leaps upon the Domestic, knocking the man and horse to the ground. Goldie pulls free of the Domestics grip and runs to the other side of the field. Prince rears and crashes down onto the Domestic, leaving gashes in his sides and breaking ribs. Prince quickly flees to where Goldie is, leaving the unconsious man and dying horse. He nuzzles Goldie and watches the man and horse. When the man begins to stir Prince leads Goldie to the thich wood surrounding the fields where they wouldnt be seen.
