How does one actually explain Avel in anything? he not exactly the simplest person to explain, this is probably because depending on who you ask, the answer you get will vary. Some will label him attractive, some have even went as far as to call him gorgeous (trust me when I say, one shouldn’t be feeding him such compliments, as there is little doubt if you know him that these compliments are getting to his head. But lets move on). Others on the other hand never seem to be impressed, and he has been told repetitively that he ‘has to clean himself up’ or ‘shape up’. He has never taken this comments to heart, other words he never bothers to listen to them, (he claims why should anyone bother with such a negative energy?).
He has naturally dark brown hair, but it often appears closer to black then actual brown, to the point that one might as well call it black. He been recently been allowing it to grow out, so it not falls to just below his shoulders. This is about his average length, maybe slightly longer (as shoulder length seems to be what he keeps it at normally), though he is known for randomly growing it out longer, or completely chopping it off as the mood hits him. Though his hair is as I said naturally dark brown, almost to the point it appears black, it like the length of his hair is known to change randomly, as he will dye it. he having in the past dyed it to the point it was naturally dark black, to a more golden brown, to blond, it just depends on his mood. When grown out, and during certain conditions his hair can gain a slight hint of natural waviness to it, though this is not often or even ‘wavy’ enough to be annoying.
His eyes are said to be one of the most ‘appealing’ thing about him, though of course this depends on whom you ask. He does have unique eyes, and to some people this is what makes them so appealing. He has naturally light blue eyes, though they aren’t the normal, ‘natural’ crystal blue, ice blue, or even ‘sky blue’, instead they are a stormy, grayish blue tend to change according to his mood, and lighting. To the surprise of most, if he is angered enough they can darken so they appear almost black in color, which is the complete opposite of their natural color. When is mood is lighter though, the color will lighten, so it an almost crystal color. Despite this, the color that most would probably refer to them as is stormy blue, closer to the sky after a major storm, or right before one. They are also said to have a rather ‘hypnotic’ appearance to them, for lack of a better term. They are ‘said’ to catch and the attention of the people around him.
Though he isn’t the tallest person in the world, he isn’t exactly short either. Putting it simply, he won’t impress anyone when it comes to height, at about 177.7 centimeters, or for Americans, 5 foot 10 inches, though he often jokes he can reach 5 foot 11, if he stands up tall, he is far from being overly impressive or tall, though again, he likes to make it clear he is not short, he is average height, and if he not, he a little above it. he also likes people to know what he doesn’t have in height, he does make up in muscle. Weighing in at about 68.18 kilograms, or 150 pounds, he can be said to be on the higher side of ‘ideal weight’, which often confuses people since he is rather skinny. This is do to the fact that it all in muscle, and everyone knows muscle takes up much less room then fat. He has a well built frame, with lean muscle that doesn’t give him that appearance of bulk, but does give him that ‘built’ look with out giving him that bulk that looks awkward. The muscle instead of making him look awkward, or ridiculous gives him a rather threatening appearance, which makes most people wary of messing with him, especially people that don’t know him since he looks as if he can put up a decent fight even with people taller then him.
He is said to have a rather ‘fair’ complexion, which actually goes well with his light blue eyes, but is said to look out of place, and clash if you will with his dark hair, at least until you are used to it. His skin never looks to ‘white’ though, this can be said to do with the fact he is almost constantly out doing something, and prefers to spend his time outdoors not indoors, meaning he is in the son a lot. His fair skin also shows off scaring though, something he does have… unfortunately. Nothing major though, just some minor marks on his stomach, and chest from an operation, and some injuries. All were do to a car accident (operation and injuries) he was in when he was a child. These scars though, don’t really call attention away from him, or his looks though. By now they are very light and fading quickly, and are hard to see unless you know about them.
Maybe the most noticeable and ‘Rememberable’ thing about him is the way he dresses. One might say that he is constantly overdressed for the occasion. This is because no matter where he is, or what the occasion is he always wearing at least a sports coat and dress jeans. He is often teased that only he can make such an outfit appear to be a perfectly decent barn outfit. Eventually you get used to his odd style choice though, and what seemed a little out of place to start with, becomes perfectly normal, to the point when he wearing something less ‘dressy’ it raises eyebrows. Usually though he will only dress down when he if for whatever reason living in the barn. Sleeping in the stall for a number of nights in a row, will be one of the only reasons he does eventually ditch the dressy clothes. This is not to say he doesn’t sleep in the barn in said clothing, and it isn’t a rare occurrence to see him curled up in a stall, horse and all, with his sports coat and dress jeans on.
Personality:
Avel had a somewhat ‘strict’ upbringing, at least when it came how he was supposed to act. Avel’s father always knew exactly what he wanted for his son, and what his son wanted never played any importance in the man’s mind. Avel came from money, both his parents were rich and influential, and this meant that they always had someone looking at them. This pushed his father into what Avel knows him as, a man with standards way to high for anyone to reach, let alone a child. This is how Avel came to the conclusion that money was more of a burden then anything else, and while most people would probably ‘die’ to have half as much cash as his family, he usually wanted nothing to do with it. He despised the very idea that he came from such a family. But he realized and accepted that he couldn’t change it at a young age, and therefore he learned how to face the everyday ‘tribulations’ being wealthy brought without so much as flinching. Since his family came from such money, and with his father’s prospering career in politics, there was always ‘parties to go to’, political events to attend, or something equally horrible. He would have preferred to be left out of all of said events, instead of being dragged and expected to live up to the high standards his father expected of him.
In the start he did try though, he did try to be that cookie cutter son that his father always wanted. Tried to live up to that ‘perfect image’ that his father set up, after all these parties were one of the only times he saw his father. He was raised to be ‘prim and proper’ at all times, especially in public, and he tried. He had tried not to whine, or complain, but what toddler can NEVER complain? He tried not to ‘kick up a fuss’, but sometimes he ‘lost his head’. When he was placed down somewhere, he attempted to sit still where he was placed, quiet and content, not making a peep. But he just had way to much energy, and he couldn’t quite reach that idea of his fathers, where children ‘should be seen and not heard’, and when he did speak he apparently rarely had ‘anything of intelligence’ to say, which always just angered his father more.
One thing Avel did learn from his father though was manners, probably one of the only things his father could be proud of in his son. But does it count when your child afterwards draws negative attention of some sort another way? But on his behalf, Avel always remembered his please and thank you, never forgot his titles, and if he did, he always went with the safety net, ‘madam, or ‘sir’. But most impressive of it all, he always remembered who the royalty was, their titles, and what country they were royalty of. And he always remembered who got greeted first, and how to greet them. At the table he remembered what went where, and when asked knew how to set the table. He knew what was used for what, and to wait until everyone had their food, and the head of the table gave permission to eat. He remembered how to use a fork and knife properly, but at a young age, as a toddler, he was clumsy. His hold on the silverware would slip sometimes, and that would often piss his father off. His father never realized that he never meant to embarrass him in front of the royalty…not at first at least.
It was this upbringing that was Avel’s downfall in the first place, one can imagine what it’s like to be raised to such a strict code of conduct, long before they could even walk or talk. one can also imagine what it like to be constantly told you failed can do to you. Needless to say, Avel rebelled. As he grew older he stopped attempting to please his father, and the training never stuck to put it lightly. And instead of being proper, he did the complete opposite of what his father often wanted from him. He nearly gave his father a heart attack with his behavior. When he was told he had to keep clean, he would go wrestle with the other children of the town, tumbling about outside, and completely dirtying his nice suite beyond repair. Instead of sitting quiet and still, he squirmed, and talked. Instead of doing as he was expected in class, he squirmed there too, and was well known for his working up the class, with wild stories.
His seemingly rebellious nature though, wasn’t done on purpose just to piss his father off, no instead he just had way to much energy, and a mind that went way to quickly. He had and still does have a hard time sitting still, and it takes a lot to convince him to sit still. His mind is constantly working too, and it rarely is thinking up anything decent, though he is intelligent, he is also highly creative. And this is where his wild stories came from; he was constantly making things up, which pissed off his parents and others around him, as they were often characters in his wild stories.
Needless to say very little of his father’s ‘training’ actually stuck with him, and despite the fact his father tried ‘with all his might’ to raise him to be that well behaved ‘snobby’ (if you want to call it that) son of a political leader it backfired. Avel is far from what his father wanted, but most will say it ‘for the better’, as he developed ‘quite the personality’, or as some might say he is ‘quite the character’, other words he is very unique. His father wanted him to turn out quiet and behaved, instead Avel is the opposite. Loud and spontaneous, he is the type that will do almost anything for a ‘good time’, and rarely will he think his actions through. He often doesn’t seem to care what it is that he does, or who sees him doing it…or what the repercussions of said behavior will be.
Though it seems that very little if any of his father’s expectations actually rubbed off on him, one can find a bit of it in him. For one the manners stuck. This is highly expected though in many European cultures so this is not a surprise. He still has the proper table manners, and the coordination to back it up. And he does still remember the titles, and how to greet people. this doesn’t mean he always uses them though, but usually when he does ‘slip’ it done on purpose, and it around people that won’t be offended by it.
One of the drawbacks to Avel though is the fact he is often said to be way too smug for his own good, though the smugness has nothing to do with his money, instead he just has a huge Ego. With the point of view of ‘no one could ever turn me down’, he often jokes that he can turn any guy, gay, or at least Bi. Though this is only joked between close friends, and clearly a joke, sometimes people have to wonder about him. He not used to hearing no, but this very well may be to do the fact he rarely ‘approaches’ anyone who doesn’t show some form of interest in him first. he doesn’t really take ‘no’ for an answer through either, but he will never force himself on anyone. He is quite the gentleman most of the time, which often wheels in the ladies, with men….he just often changes his approach to fit the individual. He has a very demanding personality though, with an air about him that makes it clear that he is the ‘dominate’ in any relationship. He does have a dominate personality, and likes being in charge, and he doesn’t do well to people trying to ‘top him’, and will rather fight then submit. Though in the past when it had fitted his needs, he had slipped into the ‘non-dominate’ role (role as the submissive if you will), it was when he was young, and it will take a lot to get him to do it again, if it even possible. That said though, even if one does make him submit, he will always have that spark in him, and nothing can ever make him submit, or bow at anyone’s feet. He has way to much pride to even think of doing such.
Though he does come from an influential family, as stated the money never gets to his head, and he will never use his family’s influence to get his way, and he would NEVER use his father’s status to get him more attention. Actually it not likely he will ever mention it, and the only reason people ever learn about it is, papers, friends, or them pushing to learn what his father does for a living. He won’t deny who is father is though, no matter how much he hates the man, he is still his father. he just doesn’t’ seem impressed with what his father is. The money never a big deal to him, he always grew up with it, and though his father often threats to cut him off, he never seems worried. First of all he still has the money left to him by his mother (Everything she owned was left to him, his father didn’t need it), and second his father would never do it, it would draw such negative attention his father wouldn’t risk it. He doesn’t abuse the money though some might argue, he does tend to always live in some ‘big home’, but this is do to his need for movement, and he is said to constantly spending money on ‘animals’, but he tends to rescue abused or neglected animals, giving them a nice home. He also took in a child, who needed a safe home.
He does tend to have a ‘conscious’ as warped as it might seem to most, and as much as he likes to argue it. There is some heart in him that does care for people less fortunate then himself. The girl is not the first person he has helped, but she is the first person he took in. He having developed a soft spot for he somehow, despite his claim of hating children. He just can tend to be a friendly individual who will go out of his way to help someone who is in need. In a way I guess he is a deeply caring person that will never turn down someone in need of some sort of help. He also seems to have no problem lending, or giving people money who need it. as long as it for a reason other then spoiling themselves. He finds though that most people who have ‘reasonable’ reasons for wanting money, won’t take it, and those that will usually don’t deserve it. this often ends up with him slipping money to them in someway or other that won’t get him noticed.
With this said, and as friendly as he can be, that doesn’t mean he is always pleasant to be around. Simply putting it don’t push him, or be wary around him when he is in a bad mood. He has a fiery temper, with explosive consequences. Though he very rarely will get violent he can cause some major damage if he is ever pushed to that point. When pushed though, or caught in a bad mood, he will rarely meet it violently, mainly because he was taught not too, again more training that stayed with him over the years. Instead though, he can get loud, and rather harsh. When pushed to that point though, he will often ‘explode’ and this has more then once gotten him in major trouble. another word of warning about him, once he is pushed to that point, he is extremely ahrd to calm down, but once he does, it often better off to go on ignoring it. Or take a chance working him up again .
Another problem with him though, is that he can be a tad bit cruel with out meaning to be. He has a strange personality, and is often labeled quirky. Which just a nice way of saying he can tend to be mocking, and though he rarely means it to hurt anyone, he will sometimes ‘go too far’. This usually means that he missed someone not being in the mood for his normal jokes, or pushes a little hard for someone who is not used to him, or can’t take it from him. On top of this, it is extremely rare for him to apologize to anyone. So the best idea when it comes to him, is rarely take what he says to heart, because he probably doesn’t mean it, and when he does you will know. He will ‘apologize’ now and then, but it takes a lot to make him say he’s sorry.
He is very independent, the type that doesn’t’ give a damn what anyone thinks about him. Therefore getting what you want out of him is extremely difficult. IF someone does want something out of him, they can not go about bullying it out of him. Insults will only cause him to either laugh, or shut down. One has to be careful how they word there request too, make it sound like an insult, or to demanding, they will only end up butting head with him. He doesn’t take kindly to people trying to force anything on him, or trying to change him. And he really doesn’t do well with people giving him ultimatums, such as ‘change… or do this… or I am leaving you’, he is much more likely to just dump the person who tries that then meeting their expectations. This is not to say it is impossible to get what one wants out of him, it just means one has to be cunning to do it. they have to be good with words, to change his mind. actually your best bed to get him to do something, is convince him that it was his idea, not an easy task.
He is not one to ‘settle down easily’, meaning that he is not one for ‘loyalty’ in ‘romance’. His first thought and worry always being nothing more then him self, and his own wellbeing .This often gets him labeled selfish by people, which isn’t entirely true. He just doesn’t see the point in giving someone that much trust and power, when it will only end up ‘backfiring’. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t make friends, actually over the years he has made quite a few friends, it just that many of them seem to last long, this might be do to the fact he is so cautious. He is very ‘picky’ about who deserves his complete trust, he always refusing to allow too much of himself to be given up. He is an independent sprit, and he plans on keeping himself that way, with no ties, no emotional connections other then the select few, which tend to be animals, or people have similar view as him in relationships. This is not to say he never tried to settle down, actually it that experience that makes him so dead set against doing it again, lets just leave it at it turned out ugly.
Despite his grades in most of his classes when younger (most of them saying he failed), he is extremely intelligent. It not so much that he doesn’t know, or get the material, it just that it impossible to get him to sit down and actually do it. As sated he has way to much energy, to the point that when he was younger it was suggested he might have ADHD. Though he does have brains, people often suggest he lacks commonsense, or at least the desire to use it. He seems to get himself into more trouble then anyone can know possible, for no other reason then he didn’t think something through. But the thing about him, that if he sits down and attempts something, he usually is successful. The problem is that he rarely wants to try, which can actually be blamed on his father. Though he acts like it never bothered him, one can only be told they are a failure so many times before they just believe it and stop trying. And one thing about Avel that very few people know was the extent of his father’s belittling.
It is still suspected that he does have ADHD, this is do to the fact he can’t seem to sit still for anything. he is always squirming, always doing something or other that involves movement, even if it just tapping his foot, or drumming his fingers on a desk. His father labeled him as ‘spastic’ and hyper, simply meaning he is constantly moving in some way or other. And his mind is constantly on overdrive, that makes concentrating impossible.
A more secretive side to him, has to be his creative side. A talented artist and musician he doesn’t really allow people to know about these said talents. He can play a handful of instrument which was pushed on him when he was younger, but what instruments he plays very few, if anyone actually knows… he is also imaginative, well known when younger for this getting in his way. He was mocked as a child for having a way to active of an imagination, making up wild stories about every little thing. This got him in trouble in school, especially when he made the stories up about the teachers and principals of the school. He doesn’t much care what people think about his wild stories or that he should keep his mouth shut half the time that no one cares what he thinks… or that he is inappropriate… it was all in fun after all, and they should lighten up.
Past:
His past isn’t really all that exciting, but here you go anyway, I going to start with his parents since that the easiest place to start.
His father was born on September 14, 1956, in Athens Greece, to the name Κωνσταντίνος Αλεξάνδρου Καραμανλής (Konstantínos Alexandrou Karamanlís in English), though generally he is known as Costas Caramanlis, Costas Karamanlis, or Kóstas Karamanlís. Avel’s father had much of a political upbringing as Avel himself. The nephew (and namesake) of the former president of the Hellenic Republic, one can say he was introduced to the political life young, and that it was bred into him.
Born and raised in Athens, Greece (As already stated), when older he studied at University OF Athen’s Law School, and at the private Degree College, he continued with his postgraduate studies in the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy Tufts University, in the United States. This is where he gained his maser’s degree and doctorate in political sciences , international relations and diplomatic history.
From there he returned back to Greece, where he became a member of the New Democracy’s youth wing- ONNED, and served in the ONNED’s and new Democracy’s organizational and ideological sectors from 1974 to 1979 and from 1984 to 1989. It was here that he met Avel’s mother, and the two were married by 1985, and by the 1st of February of 1986 they had a son. this wasn’t on his agenda of course, and he took little notice of the boy’s birth. In 1984 he had started practicing law and teaching political science, diplomatic history, and business law at Degree College, and he continued this until about 1989.
Somewhere along the lines Kóstas Karamanlís wrote Eleftherios Venizelos and Greece's Foreign Relations 1928-32. And he also edited and prefaced various historical publications. And in 1989, three years after his son’s birth, he was elected a New Democracy deputy for Thessalonik.
In 1993 his wife of about 7/8 years was killed in a drunk driving accident, his son was in the car but survived. He never seemed to fully recover from the shock of it. he gained soul custody of his son, but he never seemed to notice, and continued on with his career. And in 1997 he was elected party leader following the New Democracy’s defeat in the 1996 election and he narrowly failed to defeat the ruling Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) at the 2000 elections.. A year later he married again, to a much younger woman named Νατάσα Παζαϊτη (Natasa Pazaiti in English), and by 2003 they had twins (a boy and a girl).
In 2004 Kóstas Karamanlís was elected a New Democracy Deputy for Larissa. But his major political victory was on March 10, 2004 where he was elected Prime Minister of Greece, following his party's victory in the March 7 parliamentary elections. He is not the current Prime Minister of Greece.
His mother was born on June 21, 1960, not to far from Athens Greece, to the name Αλεχανδρια Νατάσα Ραλλης (Alexandria Natasa Rallis in English). She had no major political influence from her family, but she came from old money, and in that sense her family was influential. Despite this though her family was close, and she grew up with a rather decent life.
In 1978, or so at the age of 18, she continued her education in Athens School of Fine Arts, where she double majored in painting and sculpting, as well as history of art, and eventually majored in education, to become an Art teacher, despite the fact the salary wasn’t that great, she never really needed the money anyway. Though in 1979 she started a horse training business on the side, for extra cash, though she didn’t need it. And in 1983 she bought herself an Andalusian mare (not her only horse, only one worth mentioning) who she named Rizpah.
In 1983, her brother became a member of the New Democracy’s youth wing- ONNED, and served in the ONNED’s and new Democracy’s organizational and ideological sectors, which was the only reason she got involved. This is where she met Avel’s father (As previously stated) and they were married by 1985, and by February of 1986 she gave birth to Avel. She to never seemed to pay much attention to the son though, at least not at first. And Avel was raised by handful of nannies.
It wasn’t until 1990, that her mother finally stepped in and said something about the way they were raising her grandson, and she got involved in her sons’ life. he was four by now, but it was better late then never. Three years later, in 1993 she was driving her son home from school when her car was hit by a drunk driver, killing her instantly. In her will she left her husband very little (arguing he didn’t need it, and knowing her son would get little with out her otherwise) left most of it to her son, including her favorite mare Rizpah, and the rest were sold.
Avel was born on February 1st, 1986, to a rich and influential family from the start, both families, coming from a long line of money. And do to this, his life started out as every other rich kids did, at least from what he can tell, ‘parentless’. Shoved into the hands of nannies, he never really saw his parents much, his father was off practicing law, and teaching, his mother was off with the horses, and her ‘career’ as a teacher. He was shoved aside, into the hands of some stuck up woman, who was expected to raise him, and mold him into an impressionable young youth. Something she failed at, which angered his father, who would then at first blame the nanny which only pissed her off.
He hated this nanny with a passion, to be truthful he was downright terrified of the woman, and he often preferred to hang around the maids, and other workers, anything to be away, and not alone with ‘Nanny Damia’. He wasn’t a horrible kid, but he wasn’t behaved, and the nanny started using inventive measures to try and get him to listen and pay attention. In her defense Avel guesses she was only trying to please his father, who can be rather harsh when angered. But that didn’t change anything… but of course no one knew of what was going on. Since his parents spent little time, well no, lets be fair, they spent no time with him the first 2 ½ years, the only reason he knowing who they were, do to the other workers (never Nanny Damia’) pointing them out going ‘that’s your mommy’ and ‘that’s your daddy’ when they were in his view.
He ended up growing quite attached to a worker one of the maids, a young woman, named Lilia, who he called Lilly. She was a sweet woman, who for whatever reason took the young boy under her care when she could, and she was the main reason Avel was able to recognize his parents when younger. and she was the comforting presence a child needs to an extent… meaning when he got to see her which was never often. But she was the major source of comfort during the years between 2 ½ - 4, after the parties, and he was met with his father’s harsh and degrading words.
When he was about four, his mother suddenly stepped back into the picture. And that meant him and the maid grew apart, and he grew closer to his mother. the relationship was never perfect though his mother did notice the bruises from the nanny, and not long after the woman was fired. Much to Avel’s relief, but that didn’t ‘heal the relationship’, and though his mother was trying ,she was still busy. He was shoved into activities when younger, art, music, etc. And though he succeeded, no one ever paid him much mind which meant his interest in them faded. When he was 3 though he had his first run in with the horses, and as his mother and him grew closer, he insisted he be allowed to ride more often, and by 4 ½ he was riding actively, learning on his mother’s mare Rizpah.
It wasn’t long before Avel decided he wanted his own horse, and his mother insisted he go to his father, which he reluctantly did. his father surprised him by agreeing to it…but he was then met with the conditions, he had to work to reach ‘showing’ Olympics level (they lived near Athens, the birthplace of the Olympics after all), as well as showing in a number of other large horse shows. Avel refused, insisting that this was not what it was about, but instead insisted on the relationship between the horse and rider, as his mother taught him. his father wasn’t happy with this response, and responded by calling him ‘sissy’ and that if he keeps up that attitude, he will never get a horse,
His mother and his father often got into heated arguments over him, his mother despite her husband’s insistence realized her son would never reach that ideal image, and just wanted him to ‘enjoy his childhood’… well that what she said to him. IN the fights she argued that pushing him would make him worse. His father didn’t care what she thought, he wanted his son to fit that view of perfect perfection. This meant that when school started he was sent to one of the top rated schools in the area, where he was expected to sit quietly and learn.
What little boy can do such a thing? Well he couldn’t, he was rambunctious, and disruptive. He wasn’t doing it to be such, but instead he just had way too much energy and a mind that wouldn’t shut up. This is what constantly got him in trouble, his parents claimed he had to learn to keep his mouth shut, and he be okay. He never learned never cared to learn. And by the end even his mother was growing fed up, a woman has only so much patience.
Then when he was seven, his mother and him were driving home from picking him up at school. he being the over active mind that he had, was babbling away in the back seat when something he said distracted her. it was probably one of his many wild stories, she made the mistake of taking her eyes off the rode, to look at her son. In that instant a car next to them lost control, slamming into theirs. Avel was fine, nothing a few stitches chest and stomach couldn’t fix, mainly from broken glass, and the seatbelt. His mother on the other hand was killed instantly. He was devastated, he blamed himself, and his father never denied these thoughts.
This is where his ‘strong personality’ proved useful and powerful, and instead of crashing completely, he picked himself up, and moved on. Refusing to allow him self to be dragged down, and instead he continued living. Getting on with his life was hard at first, but he soon got back into the swing of things, and once more he started getting himself in trouble again. He was never a full out rebellious kid at this time, he was more of a young boy as I sated with a mind that was on overdrive, and with enough energy to keep him running forever it seemed.
This never worked for Avel’s father and he was soon shipped to a boarding school in Greece. This didn’t last very long though and he was soon shipped off around Europe to random boarding schools, for however long he would be kept, his behavior often being what finally got him kicked out. IN the year 2000, when he was only 14, he was sent to a boarding school in Sweden. This was one of the few schools he actually staid put for a while.
Though lets backtrack a bit, at the age of 13 Avel was already kicked out of school for his behavior with other students, and even some teachers. Having been more then once caught making out with one of the teachers, or other students… probably just for attention since by now a lot of his behavior was done just because he wasn’t supposed too. But what changed at 13, is he I guess you can say he had his first male partner… though very little is known about an affair. It was an older male, an assistant teacher of one of his classes… and he likes to let it known this was one of the only times he was ever topped.
Anyway back to the school in Sweden, this is where he met ‘Prince Auric’ of Luxembourg. The two started a rather odd relationship, and by the time Auric was about 13 (maybe), and Avel was 16 (or so) the two were sleeping together…. Though there was no ‘love’ between the two…to be exact Auric was engaged (and still is). This is probably what kept the relationship steady, since there were no promises of commitment on either side. By 2003 when Avel was only 17, he was kicked out of the school for sleeping with the prince. Of course the story was plastered across tabloids, and well he was outted to his father… and trust him when he says, that is not a fun way to be outted to anyone let alone your politically conscious father.
Needless to say his father was furious, not only was his son sleeping with other males (this seemed to back up his father’s views of his son being less of a man), but he slept with a prince. Now with two children, and a wife (Who Avel could count on one hand how many times they met), he didn’t want to deal with his son… as if he ever did and shipped him off once more to a boarding school. this didn’t last though, and later the same year he was returned home, where he stayed much to his father’s dismay, though he did remain out of the way.
Here he made a relationship with his sister, who seemed to attach herself to him, much to his father’s frustration. And he started teaching her to ride on the mare that he learned on. He also started building a relationship with the twin’s nanny… though there was no love between the two, he was caught sleeping with her… and eventually was once more shipped off when his siblings were only two. He settled down in another ‘school’ for a while. Where he met Nerissa, Rissa. A relationship with her eventually started to build… but unlike the others he actually started building actual love for her, and when a true relationship started, he was showed why you DON’T love, as one day, she met him with, “I love you…but…you have to change’, and listed nearly ‘everything’ that he was that he had to change to keep her. He didn’t bother, and eventually he left her, probably ‘worse for wear’ when it comes to relationships, and started just traveling around Europe on his own for a few months, at least until a little before his 20th birthday with news that his Mare wasn’t’ doing well, (he had no place to keep the horses…or he never would have left her.).
It turned out his father bred the mare, despite his son’s orders not too. the mare was older now, in her early 20’s and she was ill not long before the breeding, and Avel knew it wouldn’t be safe. His father not a horse person, wanted the money, and didn’t know of the consequences. There were complications with the pregnancy. Avel had gotten there in time for the actual birthing, but he couldn’t do anything, the mare died, leaving her filly orphaned. To say the least Avel was crushed, he adopted that mare…. and after that he took off.
He ended up in an American boarding school for a while, taking the filly, and his other horses with him. Here he nursed the filly by hand, bringing her back to strength. She now 6 months old or so, a few months before leaving the school he made a trip to Spain, to pick up another horse he had discovered there who needed help. There he ran into Kita, and he picked her up as well. From there he managed to gain custody of another horse, this time a gelding for Kita, another rescue. And lastly he bought a pony from a friend, who was no longer used to often (do to her rider outgrowing her). eventually he left the boarding school mainly do to being to old, and eventually wound up here.

I do not know the real prime minister of Greece, or anything about him, though some of the history is right, Avel is purely an invention of my mind. The prime minister has no older son, and doesn’t have a dead wife from a car accident. I use real names, and real places, and semi realistic history for Avels’ father just to make it realistic…none of it is true, and I am sure the Prime Minister is really a great guy, not the ass I made him out to be…
Model/Actor:
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
I have to get his example post...and I apologize if the Greek screws up
