+Something that was left behind+
*Who knew what had brought her here in the first place, she wasn’t normally the type that would just randomly go wandering around. maybe it was curiosity, it was quite the deadly little thing. And it got the better of everyone, even her it seems. Or maybe it was just a desire for space? She sometimes seemed overwhelmed by those around her; she wasn’t really a people person. She never had been, it just wasn’t part of her nature. So she gone for a walk, not that it ever helped for the same damn problems awaited her when she got back. But better to get a breather, so she didn’t end up hurting someone.
Her pace was slow, and her steps quiet as she moved down the sidewalk, her attention seemingly elsewhere at the moment. it didn’t matter much in her mind, not enough people were out for her to actually pay attention too… She would know enough to walk around them if they were in her way. The sound of a car managed to gain her attention though, her form tensing slightly, and slowing to a stop the same time the car did. Head tilting upwards, dark strange multicolored gaze watching as the woman unloaded the child and the bag, and with a few parting words took off leaving her daughter behind. Adults… always had a nasty habit of being selfish, well most adults… and as much as Ali hated to admit it, often she fell under that category.
Who knew what made her approach, she normally would have nothing to do with it. Turn her back on the small human life as if she didn’t see it. It wasn’t her problem; there were many children out there who needed help. She/they couldn’t help them all. But not today, today she couldn’t turn her back. Damn, not turning soft now are we Ali? Whether that is the case or something else, she wasn’t going to fight herself now, not over this. Moving forward slowly, being careful so not to scare the child, she carefully kneeled by the child.*
      “hey there little one…”
*her voice at the moment was soft, and calm, something one would be shocked to hear coming from her of all people. The girl that normally had the largest attitude actually showing some form of care and warmness? Oh ho-ho, everyone the world was over. Form shifting, her ads settling in her lap as her frame relaxed, she managed to make herself look unthreatening. Not an easy task, but she had managed it… as she waited quieted for the child reaction*
+ Something in a child's mind.+
Alone, listless,
Breakfast table in an otherwise empty room,
Young girl, violins,
Center of her own attention.
The - mother reads aloud,
Child - tries to understand it,
Tries to make her proud.
The shades go down, it's in her head,
Painted room,
Can't deny there's something wrong.
Don't call me daughter, not fit to,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me daughter, not fit to,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me...
She holds the hand that holds her down,
She will - rise above!
Don't call me daughter, not fit to,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me daughter, not fit to be,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me daughter, not fit to,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me daughter, not fit to,
The picture kept will remind me,
Don't call me...
The shades go down...
The shades go down...
The shades go... go...
While you’re standing there
I’m standing in a field
In my mind
You can’t take that away from me
Daddy comes to me
In darkness not in light
Why I gave you all my love
And you showed no mercy
You tried to pin me down
With emotion feeling things
A butterfly display
A symbol fall from grace
I’m closing down my heart
I’m putting up the wall
Why I gave you all my love
And you showed no mercy
Here I sit
Looking to the light
In my head
I have the peace of mind
I’ve lost tonight
There are flowers here
And hills and horses too
I ride in my dreams and
I’m afraid I’ll have to go back
Go back to the night
Daddy holds me tight
I’m losing my mind
I’m losing my head
Someone help me now
Daddy comes to me
In darkness not in light
Why I gave you all my love
And you showed no mercy
I just want to know now
What it is to survive
Daddy’s song and daddy’s lies
I’ve gotta know (repeat)
What it is
How it happened
I’ve just got to know now
What it is to survive
Daddy’s song and daddy’s lies
I’ve gotta know (repeat)
What it is
How it happened
I’ve just got to know now
What it means to survive
And to live out daddy’s lies
I’ve got to live
I’ve got to live
I’ve got to live
I’ve got to live
Name: Kaliska
Nickname: Ali
Age: unknown looks any where from 16-18
Gender: Female
Species: shifter and blood bound
Master: Minuit
Appearance: Dark brown hair that goes down a little past her shoulders. Natural lighter streaks in it, especially around the bangs. Small at 5’1, and looks dangerously underweight, despite this weighs more then average, at about 135, (more then normal for 5’5.) IT all being pure muscle. Light hint of scar on forehead, but usually hidden by hair, and one on her shoulder. Fair skin, that is usually showed off by her all black clothes. Has a very proud posture to her. As if she feels herself stronger or better for some reason then everyone else. She has a nice figure, perfect in appearance. Attractive she normally gets looks from just about anyone. Her eyes are a strange red with a blue tint, that being one of the many things that make her stand out.
Personality: Often called cocky, she thinks very highly of herself and can get away with it. Very strong, she is often considered dangerous to even vampires. Seems very mocking, and not afraid to let her point be known. Seemingly strong both emotionally and physically strong very few get to her. Doesn’t seem to like men, and not afraid to let that point be known, though she is also known for playing with them for a while. Very arrogant, to the point it can get annoying. She has a sick sense of humor, and not afraid to take advantage of Minuit’s soft spot for her. Not good with kids, having a really short temper, nor is she good with dealing with people. Doesn’t like being second to anyone (except her master) and refuses to submit. Not afraid to use physical force where it is necessary. Often described as ‘the snake in the grass’ the type waiting to strike.
Past: She was raised in a broken home; her mother died giving birth to her. Her father was a drunk who blamed his own child for the death of his wife, and he used this as his excuse to abuse her. At age 11 she ran away, from her physically, mentally/emotionally, and sexually abusive father, and landed herself in the streets. Now alone, scared, and lacking any means of support she became an easy target of what happen next. She was picked up by a local pimp, with gifts, money and promises of love, it taken him not even a month to shove her forcefully into the life of prostitution. IT was a form of money, but hardly a way of living. She was being abused the her ‘Johns’ often raped, and never given the money, she wasn’t paid well, and for the money she did get she rarely saw even 10% of it. This lasted for about 5 years when Minuit found her. Some reason taking an interest in the young prostitute, she took her in, freeing her of the burden. Also helped her discover, and strengthen her powers; she started to free the girl. She soon became rather high in ranking among Minuit’s slaves, Minuit seeming to have taken some form of ‘liking’ to her. Though the damage of the past wasn’t gone, she became… strong. Because of the mistreatment she faced at male’s hands she doesn’t like them, but doesn’t fear them any more. They being the reasons she worked so hard to get so strong.
