I agree with you that it's very unfair to judge GMA like that. After all, GMA is the only network that can give a very tough competition to ABS-CBN

But I disagree with you regarding what you've said.

GMA has the most number of recognition from New York TV and Star Awards only

reasons:

1. gusto nila manalo ng awards sa New York, kaya taun-taon na lang nagpadala ng entry sa new york. they have the research department for international sa kanilang news and current affairs. ang abs-cbn, wala because abs-cbn is not so afer of the awards

2. alam na natin ang reason sa star awards. walang credibility eversince!

while ABS-CBN has the most number of recognition from KBP, CMMA, and Asian TV

about the millenium celebration, I doubt if it was based from achievements. malakas lang siguro ang GMA to promote their channel, mahilig kasi makipag-partnership ang GMA abroad since wala silang access internationally.

but Even ABS-CBN is not the philippine network for the millenium celbraton, magaling pa rin sila!nakita mo ba ang kanilang clebration. dehado man sila sa GMA that time, pero abs manage to compete with their own resources, yung GMA via satellite lang kasi from other countrie worldwide, though maganda talaga!

I'll give good credits for GMA's top-caliber Jessica Soho and Mike Enriquez, pero mas marami sa abs-cbn!

wonder why naging topnotcher sina Loren, Noli, at even Cayetano, Pangilinan?

wonder why nanalo sina Teddy Locsin, Ted Failon, Gilbert Remulla?
