[i]Alam mo nyo ba na nung 2000 (yes, nung 2000 yon) nag-celebrate ng 50th Anniversary ang GMA7. Ang tawag pa nga sa special na yun, GMA Gold! Nanalo pa nga yun ng award eh. Both yung special and the printed book highlighting their milestones. Saka, hindi mo ba natatandaan? Doon din nagkaroon ng inauguratation ang GMA Network Center na bumabandera ang kagandahan sa EDSA?[/i]

Well, maybe they don't know the details of this subtle and insignificant fact because GMA is simply insignificant and cannot be considered as a real institution of television. Our kapusods are bragging about GMA's longevity, well to tell you the truth, GMA's 53 years is marked not by triumph nor commercial viability, but is plagued by low ratings, talents with no talent, canned animes, and first 35 years of programming filled with imported sitcoms and drama anthologies that do not necessarily reflect the real values of the filipino people. Though ABS-CBN also has its own dose of canned programming as manifested by highly successful mexican imports like Alicia, Rosalinda, Maria Mercedes, Chabelita and the newest Taiwanese soap Meteor Garden, these programs also became huge successes in their respective countries due to their lavish art and high sense of television production, while GMA imports commercially anemic shows that heavily and ironically represent their [i]infamous tradition of second rate-ism[/i]. Compared to GMA's unbalanced programming within its 53 tumultuous years, ABS-CBN have always proved that they can produce home-made programs and make them national blockbusters as manifested by Esperanza, a record breaking drama series that has reached an 80% audience share, making it an insurmountable feat and the highest recorded rating in the history of Philippine TV. While GMA can only boast some [b]ephemeral[/b] successes with animes like mojacko and Voltes 5, Japanese produced programs with no ounce of Philippine ingeniuty.
This is also the reason why ABS-CBN pioneered in making 100% fiipino shows like Kwarta o Kahon, What's My Living, Bagong Kampeon, John n Marsha and 100% technological firsts like Bridges On the Air, Halalan '64 and DZAQ TV Channel 3, while Stewart's GMA programming offered nothing within its first 35 years of Television but Bonnie and Clyde, The three stooges, and a bunch of canned American sitcoms, not counting the series of Marcos Bagong Lipunan ads and other Martial Law propaganda.

Ang alam kong humahakot ng mga awards ay ang ABS-CBN Christmas Special, that won the Asian TV awards and KBP Golden Dove Award, and the Bantay Bata production of One Night With Regine, that bagged the highest prize in the recent Asian TV Awards 2002. Mangarap ka na lang na mapansin pa yang starless GMA Gold because while Channel 7 is airing their grand deception, the majority of the filipino people is watching the TV station where their heart [b]really[/b] belongs, ABS-CBN.
Natawa nga lang ako, dahil ang balita ko, nilangaw na naman yata yung GMA 53rd anniversary sa Araneta Coliseum dahil ang ipinantapat ng ABS-CBN dito e yung concert ng F4. This shows how ABS-CBN programming genius FMG can pound GMA's ratings into tiny, shattered pieces of hopeless dreams. Hahahahaha, mga chekwa lang pala ang katapat ng limampu't tatlong taon ng GMa hahahahahaha!!!

How deceitful! ABS-CBN is the only television station in the philippines that owns digitalized signal gathering facilities (this is a common fact among technical people, obviously you're not one of them) as manifested by their hi-tech OB vans and
digitally clear station ID's. Their latest 50 years station ID featuring the evolution of ABS-CBn from its humble beginnings is the first digitally made visual presentation and crafted through Dolby digital sound, di tulad ng GMA na parang lata ang tunog, dahil stereo pa rin ang gamit nila magpahanggang-ngayon. ABS-CBN can also cover 95% percent of the philippines making it the most available Telvision station in the philippines, even Mr. Bobby Barreiro, a defunct GMa executive, made this his prime agenda for GMA, pero hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nila magawa dahil sa palipat-lipat and disorganized leadership ng GMa na ngayon ay may bago na namang may-ari, ang mga dupang na sina Atty. Felipe Gozon at kilalang Marcos crony, Gualberto Duavit.
At kung mapapansin niyo, ABS-cbN's high-tech news gathering facilities enable TV Patrol and Headlines to feature [b]live[/b] reports from outside Quezon city and even as far as General santos city and TAwi-tawi [b]with no interruptions,[/b] di tulad ng outdated facilities ng GMA na kahit nasa EDSA lang ang field reporter, nagkakaroon pa rin sila ng technical difficulties, na nagre-resulta ng hindi malinaw na pag-uulat.
Halata din na hindi ka pa nakakapunta sa ABS-cbn, at hindi pa nadadalaw ang very modernized at parang five star hotel na compound ng ABS-cBn. Balita ko na ang mga artista ng GMA ay sa labas pa kumakain dahil unsanitary daw ang canteen ng GMA, at mas maganda pa daw ang kainan ng mga preso sa city jail kaysa rito. hahaha, how embarassing!

[i]San ba mga taga-ABS-CBN nun? Sa mga meteors? Malalaglag kayo kasama ng mga meteors na yun kung hindi nyo titigilan ang GMA7.[/i]

Why? Are your cohorts so furious, that they readily ate their words and imported not only one but three chinovelas to stop the resurgence of ABS-CBN's meteor garden, that has already brought down EXtra2x to its knees?
GMa ang tumigil dahil sila lang naman ang banat ng banat at ginagamit pa ang inquirer, super radyo at ang sarili pa nilang istasyon para atakehin ang ABS-CBN. If you station is just plain dumb and can't win the ratings game, tell them that it's not Mr. Lopez's fault!

[i] Saka mula local, hanggang international, marami (as in pag dumaan ka sa hallway nila, halos patung-patong) ang awards na nakuha nila. Philippine Congres nga, recently binigyan nila ng special citation ang GMA kasi naparami na nilang nai-contribute sa Philippine television. Kasama nga pala sa mga nakakuha ng awards ay SOP, Five and Up, Vilma, TGIS, Bubble Gang... ang dami-dami pa, not to mention the News programs na talagang top-rate and very innovative.[/i]

Pumunta ka rin sa ABS-CBN at makikita mo na patung-patong din ang awards na nakamit ng star network. Misleading ka naman yata, [b]Saksi lang po ang binigyan ng kongreso[/b] ng citation at hindi GMa. Saksi bagged the gold medal in the recent NY TV fest, an award previously won by ABS-CBN with its program The World Tonight (Gold Medal for Newscast '95), and Calvento Files (Gold Medal for Docu-drama '9 . Pero nalaman ba ng mga tao 'to... no. Because ABS-CBN, though they are the first station to bag the first ever Gold medal award in the NY FEst, is not boastful and pretentious, unlike GMA, nakapanalo lang ng isang award, nakasulat na sa frontpage ng Inquirer at nakabandera na sa Saksi at Frontpage. Pa'no, yun na lang kasi ang saving grace ng gma, ang makakuha ng kahit kaunting awards, kasi talo na sila sa ratings, kaya yaon na lang ang kanilang pinak-palabara de honor. Poor GMA, may their souls rest in hell!

[i]Ang GMA 7 ang nauna sa pag-harness ng Filipino music talent. Gaya-gaya lang naman ang Himig Handog sa Metropop Song Festival.
Nung nag-tagalog sina Mike Enriquez and Vicky Morales sa now defunct GMA Network News, biglang sinibak ang The World Tonight and napalitan ng Pulso. Talk about originality![/i]

And you should also know that RPN 9 is the first station that broadcasted Metropop Song fest, having Ryan Cayabyab's Kayganda ng ating musika as sung by Haji Alejandro, as its first recipient. At sino rin ang nag-pauso ng solong pagbabalita, si Noli de Castro po ng TV Patrol. Nung sinabayan ng Pulso Aksyon Balita ang Tagalog newscast at si Korina at Ted Failon ang naging anchors, sumali naman si Vicky Morales sa bagong Saksi, upang samahan si Mike Enriquez na dating solo sa GMA Network News. Nung nagkaroon ng Balitang kyut ang TV Parol, nagkaroon din ng balitang kwela ang Frontpage. Sinabayan pa ng flash reports upang gayahin ang nagbabagang mga balita, at meron na rin silang chinovela balita sa Frontpage para sabayan ang mas informative at interesting MG at F4 news ng TV Patrol. Umupo si Korina sanchez, at heto't umupo din si Mel Tiangco. Mahaba ang buhok ni Ms. Sanchez, at heto't nagpahaba din ng buhok si Ms. Tiangco. Now, tell me, where's the originality?? Kahit na sensational newscasting ng ABS-CBn ay ginagaya na rin pa la ng Frontpage, dyos ko po!

[i]Original ang format ng Magpakailanman. Kasi true-to-life stories ang kanilang ipinapalabas. E yung Maalaala Mo Yakyak na-threaten sa Magpakailanman kaya nagpalabas na rin ng true stories. Saka ang original naman ay Dear Ate Helen (Lovingly yours, Helen) hindi Dear Ate Charo. Naaalala mo pa kaya?[/i]

Original format ang Maalaala mO kaya dahil dati na silang nagpapalabas ng mga true to life stories, kwento man ng taong sikat o di-sikat. At nauna din po ang dear Kuya Eddie, at dear tita dely, anong gusto mong sabihin ni ms charo, dear manang charo o dear inday charo?? Ang babaw mo naman! At ang totoong trademark naman talaga ng programa ng namayapang si Helen Vela ay [b]lovingly yours, Helen[/b] at hindi dear ate helen.

Ang unang female lead newscast ay ang Frontpage: Ulat ni Mel Tiangco. Nung hindi nag-hit yung Pulso, nagkaroon sila ng Headlines. Ahahaha![/i]

Halatang bungi-bungi ang mga impormasyon mo, mr. kapusod. Dapat mo ring malaman na ang probe team ay isa sa mga unang current affairs program ng ABS-CBN kasama si ms. luchi cruz-valdes (na ngayo'y VP ng ABS-Cbn News) at maria ressa (na ngayo'y chief ng asian bureau ng cnn). Kailangan ding buuhin ang the correpondents dahil magiging senador na si Ms. Loren Legarda at mababakante ang posisyon ng The Inside Story.
Mapa-babae man o mapa-lalake, ABS-CBN ang nauna sa solong pagba-balita sa pamamagitan ng TV Patrol na kung saan si kabayan ang newsanchor. At tinanggal din po ang Pulso dahil si Ms. Korina Sanchez na ang papalit sa TV Patrol na binakante ni kabayan dahil sa pagtakbo niya bilang senador, at ang ABS-CBN headlines ay kasama sa ipinangako ng ABS-CBN kay Ms. Karen Davila sa kanyang paglipat.
So mr. kapusod, please lay your facts straight, napaghahalata tuloy na isa ka ngang kapusod!

[i]Nauna ang GMA sa morning shows. Remember Mornings at GMA which succeeded Good Morning Asia after Vicky Morales left to anchor GMA Network News? Tapos bigla na lang may Alas Singko Y Media! Wowawow!

Ang unang youth-oriented show ay ang TGIS. Pero dahil masyadong ma-gimik sa pangongopya, nagkaroon ng Gimik.
Ang unang talent program on TV was That's entertainment. Sa sobrang kasikatan, ginaya ng ABS-CBN at nagkaroon ng tada: Ang TV[/i]

Mr. Kapusod, nauna ho ang ASYM sa morning show format nito at ito ang pinakaunang programa na nag-rate ng pinakamataas na 25 sa timeslot nitong 5:30. Hindi nag-rate ang mornings@gma, kaya pinalitan nila ng Unang hirit with arnold clavio. gaya ng inaasahan, kinopya ng programang ito ang mga elementong naging tatak na ng ASYM tulad ng tagalog na pagsasalita, pag-cover ng sitwasyong pantrapiko, commentary, hollywood news, health watch at iba pa.
Ang format din ng Isyu 101 ay iba, dahil dito, mga estudyante mismo ang nakikipag-debate, at hindi mga TRAPO tulad ng DEBATE. Mas naging school spirited at alma mater battle ang naging format ng Isyu 101. Pumatok ito dahil ito ang naging ratings winner sa timeslot nito na inalpasan ang debate.

Mas maganda rin ang kinalabasan ng Gimik sa ratings at habang namamatay sa ere ang TGIS, nandyan pa rin ang GImik at ginawa pang pelikula. Dahil pinag-lumaan at nilangaw na ang tema ng TGIS, pinalitan nila ito ng Clik, at gaya ng iba pang programa ng ating mga kapusod, ito'y naging baduy at corny.

Ang TV naman po ay isang gag show, di tulad ng that's entertainment na more on variety ang tema ng programa. Gaya ng dati pa nitong mga show, umarangkada sa ere ang ang tv, at di nagtagal, ang mga talents nito ang siyang naging pinakamagagaling na artista sa ating bagong henerasyon, di tulad ng katapat nitong that's entertainment na wala ni isa ang sumikat (and I am talking about the newer generation, when ang tv started to go neck to neck with them). At nung nabulok sa kangkungan ang that's entertainment, pinalitan nila ito ng dats, at gaya ng inaasahan, lumagpak na naman ito sa ratings, at ni isa sa mga talents nito ay hindi sumikat.
Ngayon merong aBS-cbn talent center, na kung saan ang ating mga magagaling na artista sa bagong henerasyon ay nanggaling. as usual, na inggit ang ating mga kapusod, kaya gumawa din sila ng sarili nilang GMa artist center, at gaya ng inaasahan, the talents of this absurd agency all drowned in the oblivion of anonimity.

Tada, those are my arguments, and you can't deny that all of your posts looked like trash and insignificant pieces of crap. After all, you are what you watch, and unfortunately you watch GMA. hahahahahahah
