Naglabas ng statement ang ABS-CBN via text through Ms. Leah Salterio, PR Director ng ABS-CBN tungkol sa nangyaring kaguluhan kagabi sa The Event Concert nina Barbie Xu, Vaness Wu at Ken Zhu ng Meteor Garden. Ayon sa text: "ABS-CBN wishes to inform the public that it is not in any way involved in the production of the concert, The Event, which was undertaken by Big SLIM Entertainment, an independent outfit. Except to cover the event and its ancillary activities for promotional purposes, ABS-CBN had no participation in the handling and conduct of the said concert."

Kasabay ng statement ng ABS-CBN ay ang apology ng concert producer na si Susan Lim ng Big SLIM Entertainment: "The Organizers of The Event sincerely apologize to all concertgoers for their difficulties or any inconvenience experienced in entering the venue. Meticulous security checks conducted specifically for the safety of the public complicated by incessant rains hampered the ingress into the venue despite gates being opened at 4:00 p.m."

Ayon sa initial report, umabot sa 19 katao ang nasaktan sa kaguluhan ng nasabing concert dahil siksikan.

Marami rin ang nagreklamo sa sobrang higpit ng seguridad at pagiging arogante ng ilan dito.

Isa sa mga biktima ng ginawang pagtataboy ng mga security ay ang photographer ng Star Group of Publications na si Joven Cagande. Ipinagtabuyan daw si Joven na parang hindi tao ang kausap. Okey lang naman daw kung hindi ito papasukin kung dinaan nila sa maayos na pakiusap ang pagpapalayas.

Isa lang si Joven sa napakaraming biktima ng kaguluhan at higpit ng seguridad sa nasabing concert kagabi sa ULTRA.

Samantala, hindi rin satisfied ang mga nanood dahil tatlong beses lang kumanta ang dalawang F4 member na sina Vaness at Ken. Samantalang si Barbie raw ay tatlong beses lang nakipag-duet sa kanyang sister na ka-tandem niya sa ASOS Band.

Marami rin daw nagreklamo na mga ticket holder na hindi nakaupo dahil nagkagulo na ang mga tao.

Mahigit umanong 40,000 katao ang dumagsa sa ULTRA noong Sabado ng gabi para panoorin ang The Event.

Samantala, maraming nagalit na fans ng F2 dahil bitin na bitin umano sila sa ASAP Mania kahapon. Ayon naman kay Ms. Salterio, hindi talaga lalabas sina Vaness at Ken dahil may special presentation sila sa September 20, hosted by Ms. Kris Aquino.
