Many people all over this planet have been helped by something or somebody when no other help was available. This kind of help has been interpreted and/or explained in very many ways and many belief systems were formed, including those whose members believe that there is only one God who is doing this, or who manages many angels who do it for him/her/it. Compare with Santa Claus and his many helpers.
..... But there are very many other people who never had such an experience as yet, and they therefore quite truthfully state that they have no evidence of God. So far.
