Date Posted: Sunday, August 17, 02:20:16pm Just finished talking to Ed Adams who called me to alert us that Bill Boyd did have a heart attack. Bill's mother called Ed. She told him that Bill had played two games of ball on Thursday evening (back-to-back) and started feeling dizzy prior to passing out moments afterwards. EMD was notified and arrived promptly. They began emergency treatment and transported him to Chippenham Hospital where he underwent extensive testing. Tests showed that Bill had three arteries with blockage. From what I understand from Ed, two stents were inserted on Friday. One artery was 100% blocked and the other two weren't as seriously blocked. Ed said he and Buttercup were getting ready to go visit with Bill and that he would call later. If you'd like to visit, Bill is in room 302. The phone number is 323-8302. Keep Bill and his family in your prayers. And, by all means, take care of yourselves too especially in these extremely hot, humid days.
