Date Posted: Saturday, August 23, 08:52:53pm Just got back from the river today and found a card in the mailbox from Tom and Vi Harkins, along with two pictures, (one was a beautiful picture of the whole Harkins' family -Tom & Vi, Joe & Kathy, and Sydney; the other was of a very proud grandfather holding a georgeous live "baby doll"!. The pictures were a wonderful surprise, and if you're at the September breakfast meeting (first Tuesday of September), I'll be glad to share them with you.) Speaking of their babydoll, please include Sydney in your prayers. The little Angel has been wearing a brace due to a hip problem detected shortly after her birth, and on Tuesday of this coming week, she will go into the hospital to have a cast put on her tiny little body from her chest down. Let's all pray that the cast works where the brace did not to correct this physical defect. Sydney definitely is a very special little angel and is loved by so many of us.
